Type of writing: Describe what you write. Examples might be “steamy romance”, “biographies of obscure scientists”, “legal thrillers”, etc. Include why you write these works, what inspired you toward this genre or anything else about your works.

Awards, Education, Other work: describe any awards, accolades or education that is pertinent. Examples might include “New York Times Bestselling author”, “Daphne Award winner”, “graduated from George Washington University with a degree in mechanical engineering”, “works as an accountant by day and writes romance at night”, etc.

Location: Where do you reside? Be as general or specific as you’re comfortable with. Examples might be “United States” (general), “Pacific Northwest” (more specific), “Seattle, Washington” (very specific). Also include any fun, interesting or pertinent facts about your culture, ethnicity, or background that you feel is important or interesting and that you want to share. Examples might be “raised on a farm in Iowa but moved to Los Angeles to study acting”, “Korean-born immigrant to Norway”, “army brat raised all over the world.” Include only what you feel comfortable sharing.

Hobbies, Interests, Fun Facts: Describe your hobbies, interests, family, or anything quirky or interesting. Examples might include “volunteers at food banks”, “knits hats for cats”, “married to my best friend and has 3 children”, “plays the drums in a reggae band”, “incoherent before 2 cups of coffee”, “will kill for chocolate”, etc. Have fun with this section!
